We survived!!!

We had a great time in our home stays and learned a lot. It was very difficult at times but we all did learn how to push through and make the best out of what we had. We got back to Ubud and we got to experience the beginning of a cremation for a priest. Our teachers were there showing off their skills playing the gamelan. We are now back at our “Bali home” the hotel and we are all very tired. All together today was a great day and can’t wait to see what comes our way tomorrow.

  1. I am happy to hear that the homestay was both educational and enjoyable. Looks like a lot of hard work! I am sure it was a great opportunity for all of you and am proud of you for sticking with it. I am counting the days till you are back home, Love and miss you Audrey!

  2. always a challenge to leave the safety of the group you know. But you did it and experienced something that not many do in their lifetime..living with people who are very different than you. It takes a lot of courage and you should be so proud of yourselves. I hope, in reflection it will stay with you as a great experience. Keep learning!

  3. Im sure it was amazing, i cant wait tonhear about all ur adventures audrey….. ❤❤❤

  4. I hope you more than survived! Archie is right, sometimes being uncomfortable and unfamiliar can be the best kind of learning experience. Travel is all about being exposed to the unfamiliar, otherwise you’d just stay home! ❤
