The last class

All good things come to an end. Today we woke up still recovering from our days at the home stay, we realized today was going to be one of our last days of classes. In the morning we had our last rehearsal for ourrendik and dancing performance. I still don’t feel prepared for our performance tomorrow, but all I can do is hope for the best. Hopefully we’ll pull off a miracle and blow the audience away! However it is also disappointing because we will no longer enjoy the company of our teachers while playing the rendik and dancing. Even though it is one of the most painful parts of this trip it pays off with laughter and amusement, and I’m going to miss it.  In addition, we had one of our last art classes in the afternoon. I and three others had our last puppet making class today, while the other half of the group had their last painting class. It’s sad to think that our time with our teachers is almost over, we have grown closer to them everyday and saying goodbye will certainly be difficult. But on the bright side we still have a couple of days here in Ubud so we must enjoy them while we still can!

Hope everyone is well.
